ASTROLOGY FESTIVAL

COSMOS ASTRO-FEST 2018 was celebrated in our school on 6TH JULY 2018. This workshop aimed at enriching the knowledge base of students and enhancing their life skills. The participants of the programme were from classes IV to VII .Total number of participants were 174. The programme had 3 sessions. It started with our Respected Principal Madam Dr.Sweta Malani’s inspiring words of interaction with class VI students. Teacher Incharge Mrs.G.Lily, welcomed the team from COSMOS by mentioning the importance of the event organized in our school.
The 2 member team who came from Delhi Mr.Siyaram,Senior researcher and Mr.Sumit, Assosciate Researcher conducted the workshop. A presentation on our Solar system was shown to students followed by an individual activity –MAKING OF SUN DIAL and using it to measure time.This was followed by Cloud Making Activity. Visual presentation of Time Travelling Concept took thc students to greater excitements. v
Individual Activity of Moon Walk Training with virtual reality excited students to feel that they were in Moon.

Launching of Hydro Rocket kindled students’ interest in Space Research which was reflected from students’ feedback towards the programme.
In every session the student who gave correct response to the question asked by the team personal was rewarded a virtual Reality 3D box.
