Workshop On National Digital Library of India
A workshop was organised by IIT, Kharagpur on National Digital Library of India at DAV Model School on 11th July, 2018. Our school is the first school to conduct this workshop in the whole country.
The facilitators of this programme were Miss. Sujata Roy, the COO of the National Digital Library of India project, MHRD and Mr. Rajendra Singh , project officer of NDLI. Honourable Principal Dr. Sweta Malani greeted them heartily.
The objective of the programme is to integrate all existing digitized and digital contents across educational and cultural institutions/ bodies to provide a single-window access to different groups of users ranging across the entire population at no cost. NDLI is a knowledge source for all students, starting from school level to college goers , university students , faculty and lifetime learners.
Total 75 students from the school participated in this programme.
The duration of the workshop was 2 hours. The programme was conducted very enthusiastically with the active participation of the students.
After a vibrant and dynamic workshop session, it was finally concluded with the vote of thanks by our respected Principal.
