DAV MODEL SCHOOL IIT KHARAGPUR has celebrated Independence Day activity on 14^th August with great enthusiasm and pride. Children of LKG and Std 1 presented a short and colourful cultural fest which was greatly appreciated by our respected Principal Dr. Sweta Malani. The programme started with the lightening of the lamp which motivated the tiny tots a lot. The programme proceeded with the speech presented by Master Gairik Nath of class 1 with the continuation of the speech by Snigdha Ray as Bharat Mata and thus followed by the dancers performed by the students of LKG and Class 1 respectively. Children were dressed up as freedom frighters and shared their famous quotes. Students enjoyed the programme and were happy to get sweets .Students dispersed at 10:30am in a disciplined manner.
