CELEBRATION OF VANMAHOTSAV AND VARSHAMANGAL 

The celebration of Vanmahotsav and Varshamangal was an ideal opportunity to instill the value of social responsibility in the students towards safe guarding trees and forests as well as to welcome the advent of monsoon. Our school celebrated the auspicious day in a phenomenal way. The program started with the introduction of the importance of rain for the growth of the green vegetation. The music students of class VI and IX performed a mash up "Sawan Gagane Ghor Ghana Ghata"; Raag – Miyan Malhar; Bandish – "Bole re Papihara ab Ghana Garje" to inculcate the 'Vanmahotav' and 'Varshamangal'. Then followed the oration of students of class VII A and VI C (Debby Victorine and Rishit Chaturvedi) on the significance of afforestation and Vanmahotsav. The students of class III presented a brilliant dance performance on the song "Sundor Boney Sundari Gachh" and class VIII students performed on the song "Mono Mor Megher o Sangeet" and "Aao Hum Sab Haath Milaye".
