DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur is celebrating Cyber Safety Week 2020 (19.08.2020-24.08.2020) in a inimitable way in this COVID pandemic situation. Students of our school made Powerpoint presentations, prepared speeches and helped in raising awareness among the general public about the grave issue of cyber security. A video was put together by our students as well to make everyone aware of the issue and make sure that everyone has taken the necessary steps to protect themselves from cyber crime. Some of the preventive measures that you should take to protect yourself against hackers are:

1) Turn on Two-factor authentication for all your important e-mail addresses.

2) Have a strong password. Use a combination of alphanumeric characters.

3) Do not open or download anything from an untrustworthy source.
