DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur pays tribute to the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan by observing National Mathematics Day on the occasion of his 135^th birth Anniversary based on the theme ‘Mathematics for a Better World’. Students actively participated in various activities like online quiz, poster making and preparation of charts. They enthusiastically performed songs depicting various mathematical shapes. They also portrayed geometrical shapes like Lines, Angles etc. through Bharatnatyam dance. The whole program was arranged to make children aware about the presence of Mathematics all around us and also about the contributions of this great personality in the field of Mathematics.
