NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY 2019

To celebrate the spirit of the scientific temper of our country, National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February, every year. This day gives us an auspicious opportunity to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by Dr. C.V. Raman. DAV MODEL SCHOOL, IIT KHARAGPUR celebrated this day with wonderful speech given by our students on Famous Scientists and the amazing work done by them to Science during the morning assembly. One of the student presented briefly the life history of Sir. C. V. Raman.

On this day, Science demonstrations were performed by the students and an activity in the scrap book was done by the students of class II under the guidance of their class teachers.

All science teachers have contributed their ideas for a Poster Presentation on National Science Day 2019.

They also got a wonderful opportunity to join the Facebook LIVE session with young student innovators and entrepreneurs - Yashraj Bharadwaj and Yuvraj Bharadwaj in ATL, DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur. The viewers remarked the session as motivational and inspiring.
