To commemorate the Centenary year of Jalllianwala Bagh incident and pay tribute to the innocent lives lost there and also to pay our homage to the martyrs of the infamous Hijli Detention Camp, Shahid Tarakeshwar Sen and Shahid Santosh Mitra, a voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organised  by Kharagpur Voluntary Blood Donors Organisation along with DAV  Model School IIT Kharagpur under the aegis of the Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha in association with “Mission Nirmal Bangla” Government of West Bengal, on 21 August 2019 in the School campus.

There was an overwhelming response for this noble cause from the stakeholders. Principal, Mrs. Lopa Chatterjee, extended her heartfelt thanks to the donors and KMedinipur Medical College for making the programme a  grand success.
