Martyrs' Day

IIT Kharagpur paid tribute to Shahid Tarakeshwar Sengupta & Shahid Santosh Mitra on Martyr’s Day on 16th September 2019 on the grounds of the erstwhile infamous Hijli Detention Camp, which today stands tall as the Nehru Science and Technology Museum, in IIT Kharagpur.

The students of DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur rendered two beautiful patriotic songs in their memory. They also presented four saplings to the Authorities of IIT Kharagpur to commemorate the occasion. The program concluded with all the guests paying floral tributes to the Martyr’s.
