DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur paid homage to the legendary Hockey Player Major Dhyanchand on his birth anniversary by celebrating National Sports Day on Tuesday 29th August 2023.
On this occasion, Principal Madam Lopa Chatterjee stressed on the impact and six ethical values of Sports and Games such as Passion, Self-Belief, Respect, Honesty, Determination and Teamwork in students life. Various activities like drawing competition, essay writing competition and Football, Volleyball and Kho-Kho matches were held, in which the students enthusiastically participated in large numbers.
