Run for DAV

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur, organized the "Run for DAV" to align with Gandhi's teachings of health, peace, unity, and service, while promoting the importance of physical fitness, social responsibility, and national values in today’s world.
Approximately 150 students, along with 10 teachers and staff, participated in a 5 km run held on the IIT campus, with appropriate arrangements and safety measures in place. The event featured separate races for boys and girls.
**Boys' Results:**
1. First place: Anik Maity (Class IX-B)
2. Second place: Deb Majumder (Class IX-C)
3. Third place: Anshu Singh (Class IX-B)
**Girls' Results:**
1. First place: Pragyan Parimita Mohapatra (Class IX-A)
2. Second place: Prerna Singh (Class IX-C)
3. Third place: Aashika Lenka (Class IX-A)
