REPORT ON RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS 2024
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was celebrated by the students of DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur on 31 October 2024 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A special assembly was conducted in which The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge was taken by the students and the teachers. A throng of activities were organized to support the cause of promoting unity and celebrating “National Unity Day”.
The students made Posters and slogan to spread the message of preserving the unity, integrity and security of the nation. A song presented by the students of class V-VII to establish a harmonious society. The students of Std IX-X participated in debate and seminar on the life, the role of Sardar Patel in the freedom struggle to establish a harmonious society. The students and teachers also participated in Run for Unity campaign to express their heartfelt appreciation for the great leader.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day which is an ode to Sardar Patel’s unwavering commitment towards national integration was a memorable experience at DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur for the students and teachers alike.
