EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION TO TATA HITACHI, KHARAGPUR
Industrial visit bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical learning in a real life environment. On 29th November, 2024 an educational excursion was arranged by our school DAV MODEL SCHOOL, IIT KHARAGPUR, for a group of students from classes XI and XII. Students got an opportunity to visit the “ESCAVATOR PLANT OF TATA HITACHI UNIT “Kharagpur.
A visit to the industrial park was a new experience for the students about the industrial setup. They gained knowledge about the fabrication of excavator and got acquainted with various scientific technologies involved in the manufacturing process of the excavator.
Such field trips are more than just excursions; they are transformative educational experiences that enrich students’ lives in multifaceted ways.
We are extremely thankful to the competent authorities and management of “TATA HITACHI” unit for providing an opportunity to our students to visit their plant and have an experiential learning.
