MATHEMATICS: THE BRIDGE TO INNOVATION AND PROGRESS
Teachers and students of DAV MODEL SCHOOL IIT KHARAGPUR paid tribute to the great mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan and also celebrated the National Mathematics Day on 21st December, 2024.
Mathematics projects and models of different geometrical solid shapes were displayed by the students of classes III and IV, in which the students showed great interest. Various activities like drawing of shapes and other figures were done by the students of classes of I and II. The display boards of all the classes were decorated by the pictures of the great mathematicians and other mathematics activities by the students of classes VI, VII, VIII and IX. Teachers and students delivered speech in the morning assembly on the life of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and his significant contributions in the field of mathematics and the importance of mathematics in our day to day life.
