DAV Model School IIT Kharagpur, celebrated its Annual Concert Rhythm Divine 2025 at Tagore Open Air Theatre IIT Kharagpur with vibrancy and gaiety on 6th Feb 2025.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Patil Yogesh Ashokrao- IAS, S.D.O. Kharagpur, and the Guest of Honour was Col. Mridul Kanti Sinha- Deputy Commander and Chief Administrative Officer, Officiating Group Commander NCC GRP, HO Kharagpur. Other dignitaries present were Mr. N.K. Gautam, Principal DAV Public School Midnapur, Prof. Subrata Chattopadhyay, Dept. of A & RP, IIT Kharagpur, Dr. N. K. Som Senior Medical Officer B.C. Roy Hospital IIT Kharagpur, Mr. Amit Thakur, Head IR, Tata Hitachi Kharagpur.
Entailing the formal welcome, the progressive annual report was presented by the Principal Lopa Chatterjee. This was followed by the Prize distribution ceremony to the students who excelled in Academics, Olympiads and winners of various National & State Level Competitions.
The programme was an amalgamation of various hues on contemporary themes. Mind blowing performances of students with colourful props and costumes, captivated the guests and got standing ovation and much praise from the audience.
This year the theme of the stage of Rhythm Divine was the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which aims to create a better world by ending poverty protecting the planet and ensuring that everyone has access to health, justice and prosperity.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest stated that students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great scruple and values so they can effectively serve their nation. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the Guests, Guardians and everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor. The programme ended with proposing the Vote of Thanks followed by Shanti Path.
