In India, Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna. This year, our school D.A.V Model School, IIT KHARAGPUR,also celebrated Janmashtami with lot of dedication.The students of pre-primary group dressed up and acted as Bal Krishna and Radha.The students of standard I participated in Paper Matka decoration,while the students of standard II took part in Paper Flute making .The day ended with festive spirit and smiles on the faces of the tiny tots.
