Bagless Day Celebration

The school organized a Bagless Day on Saturday, 18 April 2026 to provide students with a refreshing and joyful learning experience beyond the traditional classroom routine. The day was filled with a variety of engaging and creative activities that encouraged participation, creativity, and hands-on learning.
On the day, students from Classes VI to VIII were introduced to CBSE’s Kaushal Bodh Education in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020. This provided students with their first structured exposure to the world of work through meaningful, project-based learning and helped connect classroom learning with real-life situations.
Students enthusiastically took part in Art and Craft, where they showcased their creativity by making beautiful models and decorative items. The Painting and Drawing sessions allowed them to express their imagination through colors and sketches, resulting in vibrant and impressive artwork.
An informative VVM (Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan) class was conducted to enhance students’ scientific awareness and curiosity. The ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) sessions gave students the opportunity to explore innovation and basic technological concepts.
An awareness session on Child Sexual Abuse was also conducted by student volunteers from IIT Kharagpur in collaboration with CRY. Students of Classes VI and VII actively participated in an interactive session on personal safety and safe and unsafe touch. The session fostered awareness, built confidence, and encouraged children to speak up and seek help when needed.
Cultural activities added charm to the day. Students participated actively in Singing and Dancing, filling the environment with energy and enthusiasm.
Physics and Chemistry practical sessions were also conducted, where students performed simple experiments, helping them understand concepts better.
Overall, the Bagless Day was a great success. Students thoroughly enjoyed the activities, learned new skills, and experienced a stress-free yet enriching day at school.
