National Sports Day

DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm, energy and sporting spirit, commemorating the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. 
The celebration began with a special morning assembly and a pledge promoting fitness, healthy habits and active living.
Students enthusiastically participated in Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball and Kho-Kho, along with creative activities like Poster-Making, Drawing and Essay Writing highlighting the importance of sports and indigenous games.
The day was filled with energy, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship, reinforcing the message that “A healthy body builds a healthy mind and a stronger nation.”
