District Level Deliberation Program on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (Teachers' Workshop)

DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur, took immense pride in hosting the prestigious District Level Deliberation Program on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (Teachers' Workshop) as a Lead School from Paschim Medinipur District, organized under the aegis of CBSE COE Bhubaneswar on 1st October 2026.
Thirty-three dedicated educators from 15 schools across Paschim Medinipur District gathered to shape the future of modern learning.
The District Training Coordinator, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Samal (Principal, Griffins International School), and the Deputy District Training Coordinator, Mr. Soumyabrata Chakraborty (Principal, St. Nicolas Public School), graced the inaugural function and coordinated the program.
Dr. Sandip Sarkar (Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Hijli College) and Dr. Subhadip Mukherjee (Lecturer in Computer Science, Kharagpur College) led insightful sessions on CT and AI.
Two of our teachers, Ms. Sumita Sarkar (TGT, Computer Science) and Mr. Upamanyu Banerjee (TGT, Mathematics), represented our school as paper presenters on 8th October 2026 at Techno India Group Public School, Midnapore. This was the second activity of the DLD on CT and AI.
