‘If you focus on the results you will never change, but if you focus on change you will get results'
With this aim the Fortis Healthcare Limited had organized the “National Psychology Quiz”, 'PSYCHED 2019’ among different schools from every corner of the country. More than 4000 teams from 700 schools participated in this competition. The quiz was specifically designed for class XI and XII students to test their psychological concepts. The quiz was organized by Dr. Samir Parikh, Director, Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences, Fortis Healthcare Limited. The team from DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur battled other schools in this 4th edition of zonal finale to enter the national finals. The team comprised of three students of class XII (Humanities stream) V. Ragalika, Shruti Chakraborty, Aratrika Patnaik who competed in the finals in Gurgaon with six other schools. There were six very competitive rounds. Team DAV IIT Kharagpur bagged second position winning Rs. 30,000/- (prize money) with internship in the Fortis Healthcare Limited. They also received Power banks, Bluetooth headsets, trophies and certificates.
Our school participated for the first time and left a strong imprint on everyone.
