SWACHHATA PAKHWADA 2024

Swachhata Pakhwada is being observed at DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur (Dated: 02.09.24-15.09.24). The event began with Swachhata Shapath Day, where teachers, staff, and students took a pledge to uphold cleanliness. Activities included:

A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) to highlight the significance of cleanliness and sanitation.

Creation of posters advocating the elimination of single-use plastics and promoting cleanliness.

Competitions in essay writing and painting centered on cleanliness themes.

Handwash Day to raise awareness about the importance of proper handwashing in daily life.

Utilization of locally recycled materials for waste storage.

Removal of waste material from the school campus.

These activities aim to foster a culture of cleanliness and environmental responsibility among the school community.
