DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur observed Constitution Day on 26th November 2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence for the guiding principles of our nation. The celebration aimed to instill constitutional values, civic responsibility, and respect for democratic ideals among students.
Highlights of the Programme
- Poster Making Competition – Students expressed their creativity by designing thought-provoking posters that reflected the spirit of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution.
- Quiz Contest – A lively quiz tested students’ knowledge of constitutional history, fundamental rights, and duties, encouraging awareness of India’s democratic framework.
- Reading of the Preamble – The solemn recitation of the Preamble united all participants in reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of the Constitution.
- Debate Session – Students engaged in a spirited debate on contemporary issues related to constitutional values, showcasing critical thinking and respect for diverse viewpoints.
- Cultural Activities– The celebration was enriched with soulful songs, role plays, skits, and poem recitations, all highlighting the importance of constitutional ideals in everyday life.
The programme not only honored the adoption of the Constitution but also inspired students to uphold its values in their personal and social lives.
