Achievement in District Age Group Swimming Championship–2026
We are delighted to announce that two students of DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur have brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performances at the District Age Group Swimming Championship–2026, organized by the District Swimming Association, Paschim Medinipur, affiliated to the Bengal Amateur Swimming Association, and held on 11th & 12th July 2026 at the Midnapore Swimming Club, Keranitola, Midnapore.
Aarini Das of Class VIII, competing in the Under-13/14 years category, secured Second Position in the 100 m Freestyle event and Second Position in the 50 m Breaststroke event. Adding to the school's pride, Agnij Chatterjee of Class VIII, representing the Midnapore Swimming Club, secured First Position in the 100 m Butterfly event in the Group II category, completing the race in an impressive time of 1 minute 59.52 seconds.
The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to both Aarini Das and Agnij Chatterjee on their remarkable achievements and wishes them continued success in all their future sporting endeavors.
